I’d be interested to know if anyone had any ideas on this issue we are facing. We have product structures for repair for parts that we use each time we do a repair, however we often have component parts that are not used 100% of the time, sometimes 1 in 5, sometimes 2 in 5 times we perform the repair.
Does anyone know how you can consider this into the BOM/Structure so that forecasting demand can be achieved based on this model. I was thinking perhaps using a decimal qty to represent the %, i.e. 0.2 etc but I dont really know how this would work in reality.
