Hi @Kyle ,
Offset from normal time span is the number of days prior to latest order date. Purchase orders and requisitions with an latest order date prior to the number of days specified in this field would be included in the process.
For example:
if you have order processing type defined to release the purchase requestion where your days before latest order date is 10. When you run automatic order processing with offset from normal time span as 0, then system will release the all the purchase requisition which are having latest order date in the next 10 days (if today is 04/05/2023 them all PR’s till 14/04/2023 are released).
Now, If you run automatic order processing with with offset from normal time span as 10, then system will release all the purchase requisition which are having latest order date in the next 20 days (if today is 04/05/2023 them all PR’s till 24/04/2023 are released).
You can use both positive & negative values in offset from normal time span.
Hope this is clear!!

The business requirement as I understood is that there can be scenarios where PO/PR lines with a distant future latest order date needn’t to be released.
