+2We have not been using the “Action Taken” flag within the MRP Action Proposals. We just started looking into implementing this as a must.
What is the best way to trace past messages that have been processed? Ideally, we would like to implement this as a metric having a percentage of actioned lines from the universe of message proposed.

You would have to export this every day prior to running MRP again for the next day. You could possibly enable history for this view, but I don’t know if retaining metrics on this becomes more work intensive than just verifying that Planners and Buyers are checking the proposals. You might be able to create a lobby view for managers to see the status.
