Maximum number of lines in a Customer Order

What is the maximum number of lines that can be added to a Customer Order ?

Is there any option to increase the same ? (e.g 200 to 300)

@SMANUEL As per my knowledge there is not limit for the customer order lines. Also, I have scenarios like 500+ order lines in one single customer order. Bur, this might leads to performance issues when it comes to search the orders and to process the orders.
