Using IFS Cloud, for a customer we aim to centralize the initiation of the Procurement flow when demand is generated from a Project.
We plan to use both Request for Order Quotation and Request for Agreement Quotation.
But when using Project Deliverables (Materials and Services), you can only create the demand into a Request for Order Quotation (via Purchase Requisition).
When using Project (Materials and Services), you can only create a Request for Agreement Quotation (via Quotation List).
Is it correct that this distinction/separation between initiating an Order Quotation and an Agreement Quotation is setup like this in IFS Cloud? If so, why?
Is there a way (standard or configurable) to initiate both Order Quotation and Agreement Quotation
from the same view in IFS? For example, both accessible from Project Deliverables or both from Purchase Requisition?
