Hi,

Some of our suppliers add costs based on order value.

I want to receive information when I release order that some value is added due to fact we did not cross minimum order level.

it can be as pop-up window or sticky notes

We have a similar requirement.

We want to know when we place an order that falls below the suppliers ‘minimum order value’ so we don’t get hit with extra charges.

Hi @KIMKIMANDREW ,

You can use the Min Order Qty  in Supplier for Purchase Part window to fulfill this requirement. A warning message appears at the registration of the PR line or PO line if the order line quantity is less than this.

Hope this will help!

Akila

It’s the total PO value we are looking at not the individual line values

Hi @KIMKIMANDREW

So are you considering the total PO value regardless of the each Part line? In that case you can use a custom field in Supplier master data to updated the minimum order value and use a custom event to trigger the validation at PO releasing point.

Hope this will help!
