Can I generate a purchase requisition based on inventory levels in a particular inventory location?  I would be dedicating a particular inventory part to that warehouse location.

Hi @bkleve you could do that. Did you notice the F1 help on Purchase Requisition creation? Copied below:

We have a custom column for Inventory Location on the Project Demand line we manually create, later acquired onto the Purchase Requisition line.

I’m not dealing with projects.  Is there another way to create demand from a location or a condition code?

I don’t think it’s possible based on locations. But it’s certainly possible by MRP which takes into account inventory levels

Not sure if it will help you all the way, but in a Remote Warehouse you define an assortment with parts having certain refill levels. Then you can run a refill job that creates either a purchase from a supplier or a refill from the main warehouse.
