While trying to change the promised date in purchase order line we are getting error saying that, how can i edit and enter the promised date. WIll this change reflect in connected customer order where created the po using purchase order trans.

We have IFS configured so any PO that's been released requires a PO change order to perform a change. Its a setting on the site I believe. Have you tried performing a change order and releasing it to see if the PO and customer order are updated?
