In IFS Apps 8, what is the best method to block access for group buyer/user from performing the PO closing functionality.
If setting by permission set, which are the specific object and set type need to revoke?
Noticed in current setting under buyer have permission set grant structure as example below:
DIS_PUR (Functional Role) and DIS_PUR_MGR1 (End User Role)

Remove the Database Object PURCHASE_ORDER_API.CLOSE__ from the Permission sets the Buyer has
You can make specific permission set to aunique user and from there you can grant the permissions that you need to allocate for that user.

Just revoking the specific database object for closing PO in a permission set, would remove access to the all users who have been granted with that permission set. So, it’s better to duplicate the suitable permission set and rename it something like the same permission set with additional work “without access to closing PO”.
And then find the database object PURCHASE_ORDER_API.CLOSE__ within the newly created permission set, and RMB on that database object and click Revoke. Then, save and refresh security cache.
