I’m looking for a way to track deployments of equipment, but I don’t really want a fully blown asset manager.

In IFS assyst, I want to connect a contact user (Customer) to an Item  in order to be able to find all item connected to a customer and the other way around, all customers connected to this item. I would also require a date field and a status field. A field to record the number of items connected would be useful as well.

I’m currently using assyst 11.3.7 but happy to upgrade if that help.

Does any have any ideas on how I could do this

Thanks

Hi @paulk ,

Have you looked at the Items panel on the Contact User form

and the Users panel on the Item form?

As you can see, in the panel headers there is a count of the number of Items associated to a user and  the number of users associated to a specific item.  They don’t have a date or status field but these fields are available on the Item form.

Hi Paul,

As mentioned by Chad, you can check the user(s) associated to the item from the Item form >  User panel

You can also view this via
- the Item monitor

or   the Impact Explorer (diagram view of an Item related to other Items in assyst; allows to view its Affected Users  on the Users Tab)
