During moving serial objects from one object to another we get a Signature field with a list of values which are probably nothing but users/employees.

Do we know how to restrict this because there can be a possibility where user updates this field with someone else’s signature which is ethically wrong?

Hi @SHAWAS,

According to my knowledge, I do not think this is possible. However let’s wait for input from other experts. May be as an alternate option, since moving serial objects is not something that we do all the time, try to restrict this move serial option via permissions, to a specific set of high level users.

Best Regards,

Thilini

Hi @SHAWAS ,

As per my understanding the signature field here is intended to mention the employee who physically performed the serial object move so in the history records it will show who actually performed this serial object movement in the facility. Perhaps your requirement is to add something like a sign off when a user has to move a serial object in the system rather than to mention the employee who performed the move.

As you pointed out, this can be a little misleading to some users with the field name “Signature” so perhaps this could be an enhancement idea in the community :)
