If you look at connection types, there is no type called PM actions, meaning it does not support connecting PM action directly. Also, you can see project connections in Prepare work order form itself as an action project connection.

I would also like if someone shed light if there is any workaround to connect a project to a PM action.

Hi all,

This was also a request in the past for some customers and there we created a modification.

The modification was to connect a Service Contract Line to a Project Activity. By doing this, all Work Orders created from this Contract were connected to the Proejct Activity, so also the PM generated Work Orders. 

So unfortunaly there is not a standard solution for this.

Maybe within configuration we should be able to solve this:

Custom field ‘Project Activity Sequence’ on the PM Action

Custom Event: Trigger is WO created from PM

Custom Event Action: Connect WO to the Project Activity

Maybe also a good idea to create an Idea in this community for this topic!
