Hi All,
While third-party apps can read part number, "IFS Scan It" apps only provide a numerical return.
In this scenario, what needs to be done?
Thanks

Need a bit more information about how and what is scanned. Like what kind of barcode standard is it, how is it scanned, by a proper scanner or built in camera? What version are we talking about, apps9, apps10, cloud?
Using the camera usually means that you are either using the ZXing or Scandit (that needs license to work) plugins. Usually when this happens it is because you are using a barcode standard not supported by these plugins.
You can google for ZXing and find online pages where you can test if the barcode you try to scan is supported by ZXing for example. Sometimes increasing the barcode size can also help as I remember from some recent case.
That issue you have is usually connected to when using camera, if you use a proper scanner it usually works better since its handled by device itself.
Thanks for you quick response. Now the problem has been solved by changing the barcode font as you mentioned.
Thanks,
Jahid
