Hello,

I tried to validate a process of Wadaco Using ScanIt.

When i choise a data from a list I get The message “URL is malformed’

If I directly write the data on ScanIt field It’s OK

If I use Wadaco without ScanIt, it’s workin well.

Do you have an idea to correct this Bug?

Hi @AMACBARADEL

Could be good to know the exact cloud version and update you have and also the scanit app version.

Does the problem only happen for a certain list or for all lists inside scanit? Like could it be perhaps data dependent on what was suppose to be shown in the list or for which item you open the list for.

I remember there have been some issues in the mobile framework with some french characters in certain places (like é).

https://community.ifs.com/ifs-framework-experience-employees-partners-only-109/21r2-scan-it-the-uri-is-malformed-error-message-14024

It was reported 2 years ago and was suppose to be fixed in the 23R1 release, but not sure if it was fixed in other older releases since there was the workaround mentioned in the link above.

Hi Dario,

We use IFS Cloud 22R2 - 21

And IFS Scan It 24.7.1265.0

I saw the issue only on one List:  Source Ref 1 of configuration Move_Part_In_Receipt

Best regards

Hi again,

Ok but then I would guess its the same problem as the linked one, so since you are still on 22R1 you will not get the fix until you have upgraded to 23R1 or later.

So a quick fix is to try out the workaround and just change that translation for Source Ref 1, while you wait for upgrading to a later version if you want to avoid this issue.

I guess you need to change Réf d'origine  to  Réf origine

So I guess its not é that is the problem and instead in this case its ‘-character, which makes sense this that is also string delimiter so it would explain the issue.

Hi Dario,

Thank you for your reply, I think that could help me. But I have no access to your link. PArtner only I guess.

Could you just share with me where I can find the translation data of these values.

Hi @AMACBARADEL

Sorry I totally missed that the link came from the partner section of this community. I have copied below what was the workaround from that link, that was posted by a french IFS consultant. I just hope you can these changes yourself as a customer or if you need help from an IFS/Partner consultant to handle it.

Here it seems like he suggest to change the data item descriptions directly inside the process page, I would guess another more complex way would be do it using “translation” command on the Data Items Tab and finding the basic data translation and changing it.

This is the original workaround in that link I posted previously:

Hi,

Indeed, I fix the issue by changing the translation in the configuration :

You need to edit the translation from the process itself, like above (you can edit all descriptions with quote and delete them).

Once the process is updated, you have to edit and republish all concerned configurations of this process to have the new translation in them.

On Scan-It app, just intialize, and you should have no more bug.

Seb.
