Last year, I installed this application (IFS AURENA SCAN IT 10) on my laptop, and I’m pretty sure I downloaded it from the Windows Store. However, now that some colleagues want it on their laptops too, we noticed it’s no longer available there.
Is there an alternative source where we can get the setup for Windows?
Or, the bigger question: do we have a “SCAN IT” app for Apps10 that can be installed on Windows laptops?

@hardik IFS Aurena Scan It 10 is intended for Windows as well, but it looks like something is amiss with the Store app. I can look into this and get back to you.
In the meantime, if you want to install it urgently, you can raise a Support Ticket and request for the installation files for the latest version of IFS Aurena Scan It 10 on Windows, which would be IFS_Scan_It_10.22.1449.0.exe
Thanks for bringing this up!

@Rukmal Fernando
thanks for the update, can you please help me get the file? case has been raised --CS0310390
but support is not really helping here, instead creating big mess and in hurry to close the ticket. Really appreciate if you can help here.
Thanks, Hardik
Hello @Rukmal Fernando
I received the setup file from @Dario Zani — many thanks for that!
Unfortunately, though, the setup isn’t working as expected and is throwing an error (details below). I’ve double-checked my settings, and my laptop is set to allow apps to be installed from anywhere.
Could you help me get the correct setup file as soon as possible?
Thanks in advance!
@hardik I am sorry to hear that you Case didn’t get resolved, but I’m afraid I don’t have access to the Case, so I’m not sure who owns it. Can you point them to the KBA below, and ask them to share the latest from the Archive please? Please also ask them to contact me in case of any questions.
While I’m glad that @Dario Zani helped you out, the above KBA documents how these should be handled, so please use that approach if you need this assistance again.
Finally, looking at the error message, there is clearly still something preventing the sideloading of the app. The version number and size match the released file, so I am confident that you have the correct file from Dario. Here’s one more change that we have found necessary on certain Windows 10 devices.
1. Open the Windows Run box using keyboard, press Windows logo key+R
2. Type in gpedit.msc and then press Enter .
3. In Group Policy Editor navigate to Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\App Package Deployment .
4. From the right-side pane, double click on Allow all trusted apps to install and click on Enabled button.
5. Click on Apply and then OK .
Notes:
· Allow all trusted apps to install
Best regards,
Rukmal
Thanks @Rukmal Fernando !
This worked, and I was able to get the application installed on my end—I'll try the same approach for my colleagues.
Do we have any update on the issues with the Microsoft Store, though? It would be ideal if we could get this published there, making it easier for all customers to install directly without needing these extra workarounds.
Let me know if there’s any progress on this!
@hardik glad to hear you were able to sideload! We’re still working to resolve the Microsoft Store issue and will share an update once we have something concrete. Thank you for your patience!
Best regards,
Rukmal
@hardik happy to share that IFS Aurena Scan It 10 is now available in the Microsoft Store again. Unfortunately, Microsoft have reverted us to an older version (10.20.1406) from June 2023 so we’ve re-submitted the latest and are expecting the Store review and publishing to happen soon. Please check back shortly.
