I’m looking for documentation about the IFS module WMS Integration :
Is this module linked to the IFS Shipments?
What are the standard messages provided by this module?
Is there any specific setup to be done in the IFS objects (customer, site, etc.)
What is the configuration to do to connect to the WMS? Is there any webservice, or other technology?
Thanks in advance for your help :)

For the retail industries there is a base line component WMSINT that contain 6 messages to make the integration work between IFS and a WMS work smoothly.
The principle of the integration is this:
The messages are these:
Part Catalog
The message contains item information needed by the warehouse in order to know the characteristics of the item like volume, weight etc.
Inbound delivery
The items coming into the warehouse expressed in IFS Applications as a purchase order or a RMA.
Outbound delivery
The items leaving the warehouse expressed in IFS Applications as a customer order, supplier return or a supplier material order.
Inbound Delivery confirmation
When the goods have arrived the WMS signals this and the item is received into IFS Applications.
outbound delivery confirmation
When the WMS starts the delivery process it usually sends a zero quantity delivered or a status “Started” to IFS Application and then it is known to the IFS user that the delivery has started.
When the delivery is done WMS reports the quantity and status “Ended” and upon this IFS Application reserve, pick and deliver internally.
Inventory report
The stock status is reported constantly and also usually once a day in order for IFS Applications to be in synchronization with the WMS when it comes to quantity.
WMS is king of quantity meaning that if WMS reports the quantity 10 then there are 10 items available for order distribution in IFS Application.
