Access to Employees in Preliminary Status

Hi I would like to know if it’s possible to enable access to employees in the Preliminary status through supervisor access or in any other way?I am aware that access can be granted via the ‘HR Application Manager’ checkbox but I would prefer not to use this if possible. Thanks

Absence requests 'unlinked' from the corresponding absence

HiWe’re on IFS Apps9, version 9.0.58.0, Server 6.90.21.0I’m looking for some help with Unlinked absences. When the user is attempting to cancel the absence request, the request becomes detached from the corresponding absence meaning that whilst the available days is displayed correctly (because it reads from the correct Absence data), any additional requests that they attempt to submit cause a ‘limit exceeded’ error because the unlinked requests are still being counted.Has anyone encountered anything similar?Thanks
