Thanks for taking the time to reply. The ifs-crystal-config.xml sits outside of anywhere we’d refresh data from IFSL (we pretty much only restore the DB, then run the installer in re-config), but I have copied the encrypted string from live across to the IFST ones, restarted IIS and still no luck. Is there a way to regenerate these passwords? Yes on the Extended Server Url And and security value set to ‘No’ I don’t believe so, even through the are created and tested on a CR server using ODBC (slightly different name/connection string to TNS). So we develop against test using the IFST credentials, then merely copy the file in the IFSL layout, without changing anything the report. Thus suggesting nothing hard coded. Yes, can confirm layout path is correct too. Thanks again Rob
Thank you both for your time, I tried the first option, but this still doesn’t let enter a non-list item. @NickPorter agree, but I thought I’d ask in case there was a clever workaround. Thanks and all the best Rob
