I’m new to IFS Cloud. Could any one advise, what is the difference between IFS Build Place and IFS Use Place in IFS Cloud.
Any Customer ever purchased IFS Build place ?
PS: I belongs to IFS FSM back ground and not much idea about APPS10 as well.

There is a lot to be learned to understand the Build Place, IFS lifecycle experience and the evergreen concept in general. But to answer your question shortly on a high conceptual level, when licensing IFS Cloud, you will have both a Build Place and an Use Place. Build Place is where you request service/version updates, where you do customizations, do sanity and impact tests. In Use Place you do the configurations and regular testing. And it’s in the Use Place where you have your production environment where end users use the application.
The Build Place is always in the Cloud, the Use Place can be either in the Cloud or a remote deployed solution on-premise.
Hi @TRCDAVMOC ,
Thanks a lot for your quick response.
It was really very helpful to build the basic understanding.
