A question was asked by a customer on the IFS Cloud Service – Customer Enablement Webinar on 22nd August 2024:

QUESTION:

In a 2 DEV environment setup scenario, how is a team of multiple developers supposed to work simultaneously if they have to wait for each other to deploy their topics one at a time and test one at a time, is there a best practice or a work around for this issue?

ANSWER:

The recommended approach is for all developers to create topic branches. Best practice is to push and pull regularly to the remote branches in order avoid your own code being diverging from what others are doing.
