HI I’m currently looking at picking countdowns between shop orders and report picking of parts for customer orders in wadaco.

Shop order picking will allow a countdown of parts and not cancel a pick list after the first pick so I could in theory pick two lots of 50 if that was the pack size giving me greater accuracy during the picking process.

When I try on report picking of parts for customer orders it will automatically cancel the pick list if I only pick 50 of each part required but keep the reservation on the other 50 pieces meaning I need to run a new picklist to complete the customer order pick. 

I’ve looked a data collection configs and nothing seems to stand out to me has anyone else tried introducing this kind of function? 

Hi @Jimf83 you can use the Keep Remaining Reservation at Partial Picking option on the Order Type or Shipment type, depending on if you use shipments.

If this option is selected and you pick a pick list line partially, the reservation will be kept and you will be able to pick the remaining quantity on the same pick list later.

Hi @COVJAMIEB thank you for that answer it has given me another avenue to explore, would this mean if I had 100 pcs in multiples of 10 that I could pick them as 10 at a time as well, or would it just mean that I could pick 50 and then return later to pick the additional 50?

Ideally I’m looking for a solution that would allow me to pick in eaches to try and increase picking accuracy and avoid shortages.
