Hello Community,

We have a shared lobby with multiple elements, and we're looking to control access to these elements based on user roles. Specifically, we want to assign different sets of elements to different users within the same lobby.

Is it possible to use the permission set option to control access in this way? For example:

  • Person 1 should only see and interact with certain elements within the lobby.
  • Person 2 should have access to a different subset of elements in the same lobby.

If anyone has experience with this or knows of a solution, I'd appreciate your guidance on how we can achieve this.

Thanks in advance!

@benjose I'm interested too how this could be implemented as a lobby page is the lowest. Only thing I know is when one has no access to the data it shows a cross (for counters) or is just not shown (graphics). That would make a horrible sight if one only has access to 10% of a lobby page.

@eqbstal We also have a presentation object for each lobby element that has been designed. How will this functionality assist in setting permissions?

As eqbstal said, a lobby element you don’t have access to still shows up, just with a cross over it. Wouldn’t it be better to design separate lobbies for the different user roles with only the relevant elements, noting that you can reuse the same element on multiple lobbies?

I agree with @AussieAnders.

In this case you need to separate the lobby elements and put them in different lobbys.
