Can one inventory part have more inventory parts under him
Can one inventory part have more inventory parts under him( I would like to have let say child inventory parts under this main inventory part, it would be created like SET) currently I do not know how many parts will come with this set, so I would like to know is there possibility to create one parent inventory part and then add child inventory parts when I receive exact number of items that comes in that set?
That would help us later if we don’t have to receive whole set at once, we would like to receive each part from that set because all parts will not come at once

You can have many alternates to an Inventory Part.

From what I understood from your question is that you need to have an inventory part structure (multiple child parts under a single parent part).
If that is your requirement, you can use product structure functionality within the inventory part.
You can create parent part and child parts separately and then go to the parent part record in Inventory Part> Part Revisions> Product Structure. Within the Product Structure for the parent record, you can add the components (child parts) as necessary. Once the connection is established, you can confirm and proceed with warehouse operations.

If you want to make this set material to make your purchase order easier you can use Purchase order template.
Then You can quickly save purchase order lines on the template
If you want to make this set material to make your customer order easier you can use Package part.
Package part is supported in the sales cycle. So selling a package part results in lowering the inventory on the package components. At least that is my understanding.
The product structure is used for engineering and has no relation (yet) to inventory/stock.

the issue is the following:
we need to create a Purchase Order for an Inventory part, which we will receive, but:
the part consists of few items (inventory parts)
the offer from the supplier is a lump sum offer, where we don’t know the unit price for each item
the supplier due to the lead time, is not sure that he is gonna deliver just the SET or parts of the SET, which will be assembled on-site
if possible we would like to have one line item in the Purchase order, and when it arrives to our WH, if needed to receive the SET, part by part
we tried with the Product structure, but in register arrivals, it does not offer part by part receipt?

As far as I know, such a structure does not yet exist on the purchasing side.

Based on your requirements, I believe you need something like Package Part functionality (used in sales process) added to your procurement process.
I do not think such functionality is currently available in the core solution. However, you will be able to fulfill your requirements from a customization.
