Hi all,

Is it possible to clone a released project offer in IFS ?

I need to clone a released project offer, so I dont have to spend a lot of time configuring all the same products and services I need to offer, to another customer.

Isak,

The only option that I am aware of to clone a project is to use the copy project capability where you

can specify which ‘bits’ of the project you want to copy….

However, not sure if you use project deliverables, but you can copy deliverable structures as well….

The challenge is that we have on top of IFS a price calculator, due to selling configurable instrumentation and copied projects end up with wrong prices.

 

Just curious if anybody are working in the same way and have positive results.

Isak,

You have most probably looked at it but one option is to have a configurable part in the project delivery structure?

I just say that because we added this capabilitya while ago to try and make it easier to manage.
