Is it possible to perform automatic inventory allocation using the manufacturing date?

Business Requirements
There is a business requirement to automatically allocate inventory in the order of "date of manufacture".
The "date of receipt" is different from the "date of manufacture" to some extent, although the "date of receipt" is supposed to be received in the order of manufacture.
We considered specifying "date of manufacture" for "expiration date," but since "date of manufacture" is basically a past date, it would result in inventory that cannot be used for allocation.
I would like to know if there is any feasible way to do this.
