My customer is noticing inconsistent behavior when converting from a purchase requisition line to PO vs converting from an approved RFQ to a PO. when the PO is authorized and all changes to the PO must be via Change Order.
If you try to convert to a Purchase Order from a requisition, the PO is never listed because change orders are turned on. For whatever reason, when converting an approved Quotation, the PO is available to select but we get an error that reads:
“New lines cannot be entered when the order has been authorized and when the Allow Changes to Order Option is not set to Within Order Amount.”
It would seem the option to select the PO as an option for adding the RFQ line would not be available if the line is not available from a requisition.
Please advise.
