It is enabled on the fly by the user and is sent to the logic for pick by choice. When ticked the demand line on the pick list line that you came from will be reported completely with what you enter in this dialogue. So there will not be any more remaining pick list line for this demand line to report in this pick list after this. This was to make it easier to report of all in one go.
It has also been useful in integrations with other WMS application where you often get all parts including lot/batch, serials etc per demand line, then this flag is beneficial to use in the interface.
Hi @supunsr ,
I found this info that could be useful for you:
“When the Pick by Choice button is clicked, the relevant pop-up window with the toggle “Finalize picking of source line in pick list” toggle will be available.
When the toggle is clicked, and a certain quantity is pick reported, that quantity will be considered as the final quantity for that pick list regardless of the pick list demand. The picklist will then be closed out regardless of whether the needed quantity is picked or if there is an over picking or even a shortage. If the reported quantity is less than the total picklist demand, the additionally reserved quantity will be unreserved.”
Replying to your question, this option of ‘Finalize picking of source line in pick list” is applicable to all reported quantities and pick list lines selected.
Regards,
Pilar
