We have a Work Time Calendar in place for our Company Holidays and work schedule which is 4x10 hour days with every Friday off.  Can we implement another Work Time Calendar to be used for DME Component we are looking to utilize?  This new calendar would include Federal Holidays which are NOT recognized by our company.  I have not found any documentation about Work Time Calendars in the IFS Applications 9 Technical Documentation nor in the Community.

I am not sure what the DME component is here.

 

IFS allows users to work with multiple calendars. For example, your site distribution calendar could be 24/7, while manufacturing is 5 Days 8,  Customer can have a different calendar based on their country, so can suppliers, and ext. transport calendars in shipping methods etc.

Is there any information on how to set up different calendars to be used in different components?  DME is a component related to government ordering which requires using a different calendar with Federal Holidays (which we do not recognize as non-workdays).  Is it part of the initial install?  Is it something that can be added/adjusted as needed?

I have no experience of a DME component in IFS.

But here is a link to read about calendar use in distribution. About Lead times document (equivalent of this IFS Cloud document in your APP9 version would be better) explains all about lead-time handling including which calendars are used and when in distribution.

I am afraid I do not know enough to talk about what is included in DME component.

Site calendars (distribution and Manuf) are defined in MPCCOM part of a site. Ext transport calendar is defined in ship via, so should be MPCCOM. Customer Calendar is defined at customer/address/order address info, so its ORDER. Supplier calendar is PURCH.
