ISSUE / QUESTION:  Why is the Next PM Date on an Installed Item, Service Info page not updating/recalculating when the Commencement date is modified?  The PM Dates tab indicates that while the next PM was due 5/1/2021, it was done late; 7/28/21.  The next PM due would have been 11/1/2021 but because the user manually changed the PM Commencement date on the Object of Service Details tab, the Next PM is 1/1/2022 (six months out from the actual last visit).  On the Installed Item record, the Next PM Date did not update to 1/1/2022.

RESOLUTION:  The customer was not using floating PM’s, and needed a resolution as this was causing reporting issues.  IFS R&D provided a fix in 15.0.4, whereby, the Next PM Date will be recalculated based on the Completion Date of the last Service Order.
