Hi

Does anyone use the holidays feature in the dispatch console? I have added one for Monday as a public holiday (Labour day) but while there is a note in the Holidays module to name the holiday, i can’t see it appearing anywhere in the dispatch console and nor does it appear in my own personal calendar. It seems like it should logically appear somewhere to advise what the holiday is

thanks

Megan

Hi Megan,

The dispatch console will only show that the day is a non-working day and not indicate the reason for it being a non-working day.  For example:

With 25 Oct not set as a holiday:

You can see time slots not in the off-hours grey color.

With 25 Oct set as a holiday:

The day is indicated as off-work day just like the weekend.

There does not appear to be anything to indicate exactly which holiday it is unfortunately.  I know this does not resolve the question you have but it is all I can find at the moment.  (note above is from v15.2 same as you have)

Kind regards,

Phil

Hi Phil

Thanks, i hope that the developers will add this in, it seems logical where you have teams across nodes and the options include “apply to all nodes” or “which nodes does this apply to”  that other teams in other countries will not be aware of local or regional specific holidays (such as regional anniversary days). I would think a note next to the date if you are displaying the node on holiday should suffice eg Monday October 25 2021 (Labour day) or even a “holiday” column in the schedule that could be toggled would work well
