one of our customer is using the DSE (V15.2HF4) and has set up in the DSE session / Logistics :

Scheduling with Part Strategy : SA inventory Only.

The purpose is that the customer wants the DSE to allocate Activities to a SA only when parts needed are in the SA’s inventory.

In alliance we have dependencies between the activity and the part

what the customer tells us is that when the warehouse of the material demand is blanked, the dse behaves ok, the system is looking for a SA which has the part in his inventory and let the activitie unallocated if there is no part (this can be seen in the DSE report). but if the customer assigned a specific technician warehouse  to the demand and create a back order then the DSE allocates the activity even if in the warehouse technician there is no part avaible , the customer think it’s not a correct behaviour coudl you confirm or note (according to the customer in V12 thi scenario was working)
