Hi,

We have identified an issue on mobile  version 15.4.2.0 (and previous version), when typing in description in checklists.

As you can see on the screenshot, if I don’t click on the pen to access the “edit mode”, text is well entered (1), but not really considered, as the save button is not available (2).

But, if I enter any other information, then I can save and the texte seems to be saved (text in black now as I saved, exit and enterd again in the checklist)
But on the server, I can see that the text was NOT sent to the BO.

The issue is : the checklist is fullfilled entirely on the phone, and the mobile app checks that, but when closing the activity, data are sent to the server but not the description. So server returns an error message that CL is not complete.

How van we fix that ?

Thank you

Laurence

Hi Laurence, I ran some tests and I was unable to reproduce this issue.  Do you have MOE -10287 enabled (checklist answer auto advancement?)  When I answer the question above my description checklist line it automatically launches the enter text window where I can enter the description field.  If I cancel out of that and click on the checklist line (NOT clicking on the pencil), I’m then taken to the enter text window and once I hit DONE and then Save the text string I entered there is sent up to the Alliance application and once I do a refresh there the data shows properly:

Can you turn on Debug Logs in the Communication Diagnostics and run another test and see if that throws any error messages?  If not, let me know and I’ll send you the credentials to log into our QAC environment, see if you can recreate it on that environment and then I can pull the event viewer logs to dig into it further.

Hi Reid,

MOE -10287 is set to false indeed.

I swtiched on Debug logs on the mobile and have no error message but I must admit I don’t really know this mode. I still have the message from the server that CL is not completed.

Hi Laurence,
Run a quick test after you flip the MOE to see if that could be a potential workaround in the meantime.  It’s actually a cool feature that makes it easier for the mobile tech to work through large checklists because it saves them a number of screen touches...as one question is answered we automatically navigate them to the next checklist line and popup the respective date/text/drop-down picker so it makes their data-entry more efficient.  And they can always cancel out of it and manually navigate to a particular checklist line any time they want.
Thanks,
Reid
