Hi,

With mobile edge,

is it possible to add a new button and for this button to set a deeplink to a tier customer application ?

Today, we could only have an URL in an attachment that open a new application, but for this requirement, we need to have the ID of the current SV to the link in order to open the same SV in the tier customer application.

It looks like a XOI or HL integration, but with a “hand made” link to an external customer applications (our customer is a service provider for many clients) .  
For this Requirement, we should have the capability in the back end to set the URL link.

I know that today it’s impossible, but did we ever made a customization like that for a project ?

Hi Anthony,
Could you embed the SV# in the Link URL attachment ahead of time?  (i.e. by doing this via a Process Flow or other change on the Alliance side before the order is dispatched out to the tech?)  If the only parameter is for the order ID then you can embed that in the Link URL and that should flow down to the mobile device automatically once the order is dispatched:

Then on mobile, just have the tech drill into the order in the Work List module and click on the Attachments icon and click on the Link URL shown there:

If these need to be generated dynamically or include other parameters then this option might not work and this would need to be done as a customization (the Mobile Customizer application doesn’t have the ability to create new buttons and control the logic on what parameters are passed).

@Reid Gilbert  You mentioned a process flow to create the Link, we would like to be able to create a customized linked on each CSO that Routes to a SO. Does anyone have some sample API code for the creation of a link in the Attachments section as shown in your screen shot ?
