Hi Chris,
I guess you are saying that you’ll have this problem when Contract has OOS more than 100 lines, correct?
This is because a limitation imposed by Configuration Editor, where Record Limit = 100.
When Contract OOS number is exceeding this limit, user need to provide a search criteria, otherwise you’ll have performance issue.
Every time you’ve made a change and press SAVE, the contract header and OOS will be refreshed. This need to be done because other integrated data may be need to be re-calculated, i.e: revenue recognition, billing schedule ..etc.
If you can, please try to make changes and press the SAVE button when all’s done, but you may have the risk to loose your changes if you’ve experienced technical glitch in between.
Hi Joshua,
Large contracts are worst case because you have several clicks to expand them again but this happens with any contract and without needing to save.
When I go to OOS, it will be collapsed as default, so then I have to expand it to see all the lines. Then if I zoom into any line, then simply click on the “Back to List” button (no changes and no saving), when I get back to the OOS they are collapsed again but I would really like that they are still expanded.
What version are you exactly running? Are you working using Employee Portal or Web Portal?
Hi Joshua, we are working using Employee Portal and the version is 14.0.0.24
Hi Chris,
I have tried in version 14.0.0.24 and v15.2.0.4. Both did not collapse when I press Back to List button as long as I don’t press Apply or Save button after making changes.
May be you need to log a ticket, so support team can investigate.
Besides your issue, I would not recommend to bundle too many OOS in one Contract. The larger OOS number in a Contract the more performance delay you’ll experience.
Hi Joshua,
Many thanks for your support, I will log a support request as you suggest.
