Hi,

We see on Cancelled Order that the associated activities stil have de status open or fulfiled (completed).

In the documentation i read that all Associated activities will also marked as cancelled as well.

But where does the activity marked as cancel?

Also when canceling a order we will get below pop up that says that fulfilled labor will lose.

But when i check the canceled order the Fulfilled labor (completed) are not lost?

For example:

below order is cancelled, but the Associated activities are not cancelled, they stil are Completed or open.

How does this work? Because as i read in the documentation it should al be marked as Cancelled as well.

Thanks,

Robin.

Hi Robin,

I believe the documentation is somewhat confusing.

As the order is in the history (in the Service Order History module), it is not possible to access those activities anymore (read-only).  The warning message is to warn the user about that.  Each activity may not be set to ‘Cancel’ literally, but theoretically, it’s cancelled.

Regards,

Susie

I'm sorry Susie, but I don't understand your answer.

The order has been cancelled and therefore all "demands" related to this order should also be cancelled. This is what the documentation says and also what one would expect. So nothing unclear except that the application is not acting as stated in the documentation.

The fact that the specific order goes to Order History after cancellation is correct, not being able to access the data within the appolication is also correct. Regardless, ASTEA must always keep the underlying data correct. If requests from a cancelled order are not cancelled, it leads to inconsistency of data. Please provide me with a solid reason. As I consider this as a bug.
