Question from my dispatch team: sometimes we want to assign a service order to a date before the Open Date (our schedules can be a bit liquid). To do this they have to open the order and change the Open Date to (at least) the date they want to assign it to. This is very cumbersome if we need to do it on several hundrer orders. 

So - is there a way to overrule this?

Sorry, it is not possible to set service dates prior to the service order open date which is what you are already seeing.  It is not an option in the system to override this validation.

 

 


Thank you, Phil. I can (again) go back to my team and say that the experts have spoken, and the answer is the same as last time (they were hopeing for a change to this in 15.4).
