The workaround is of course to create a new address, but it is a bit cumbersome.
I also tested this in our UAT - and if I deactivate GIS it works (but we need GIS).

As a work around , can you use the validate address function, find the address and tell it to update GPS only? Reason is that it may not be finding 36 as a house number and you only need to update the GPS coordinates?
I have to check this in v15.2 HF1 to confirm whether there is an issue or not.
Hi Phil
I have tried address validation (36 is a valid address, by the way) - same result
I have tried reproducing this on v15 HF4 and do not seem to have the problem:
I know you are on v15 HF1 so this may have been fixed between the two versions or the other thing I note is your data shows two Business Addresses with the first one primary and the second one is the one you are trying to modify. In my case, the second address was the shipping address which is the type normally used for the service order. As I do not have your data, I can’t check this out specifically but I suspect the problem is that you may be creating a shipping address (SHIPTO) with the update while the address row being displayed is still the BWORK address so when the data is refreshed after the save, it still comes up with the BWORK address. It looks like I will need to review your data to see what happened.
Thanks, Phil. It happens even if there’s only one address for the customer. A fresh v15 DB us uploading as I type
Bjørn,
I believe I found the issue and it is related to the ‘å’ used in the street and city name. If this is present, it did not let me save the new address.
If I change it to ‘a’ for both street address and city name first, then do the address lookup, select geocode only (so it does not update the data on the form but only captures the geocodes) and then save, it works.
I think this is a bug myself and you should log a ticket in our Partner Portal. As this is involving GIS, this likely will not be fixed until HF5 at the earliest.
I will log a support ticket for this - it’s happning using only English characters as well
