Is it possible to define the viewer's default display type for PDFs

By default the viewer open file in “Fit Width”. I would like to obtain a “Fit to page” display.

 

If the default viewer is Adobe Acrobat, you can set the Default Layout and Zoom level in Preferences > Page Display. For any other application I would guess it would be the same, i.e., these settings are in the viewer app, not in the View command in IFS.
