Hello All,

We have a lot of Migration Jobs, and we want to migrate all of them in a new IFS Cloud environment.
Are there any ways to accomplish this at once? Can we make a Migration Job for this task?

Follwing steps need to be followed to export and import migration job(s):

  1. Update a common Group Id for all your migration jobs.
  1. Once Group ID updated for all migation jobs, select Group ID in MIgration Groups screen and click on Export Group command. Click Ok for pop-up.
  1. Click on Export to File command and click on Ok after entering desired File name.

 

Check download folder and save exported file on desired location.

  1. Search for migration job FNDMIG_IMPORT in migration job screen and Click on Execute Job command.
  1. Click on Load File command and upload file exported in step 3 and click Ok.
  1. Once file loaded successfully, then click on Online command.

This is way more than perfect from what I needed.

Are you aware if there will be some kind of warning or problem if there’s a duplicate Migration Job already in the new IFS Cloud environment?

The system would replace all your existing migraton job if there is any. A infomation message would appear on successful completion. Please refer below screenshot.

I would suggest you please update Group ID for properly tested migration jobs only and let system replace existing migraiton job.
