My company runs Cloud on premises via a remote install. We compile code into Deliveries in BuildPlace and then deploy to our non-PROD for testing. I haven’t heard of anyone hosting their own BuildPlace. I believe that using IFS’ BP is fundamental to their architecture.

I’m curious about the question and what tge reason would be for wanting to host this directly. I haven’t come across a need that would require this. Please feel free to continue conversation if you like.

Hello,

In short, no, Build Place is not deployable on client provided servers.  Everything you need to deploy IFS Cloud is provided in Build Place.  Build Place is an end-to-end development solution that provides comprehensive lifecycle management for IFS Cloud, from initial development through deployment and ongoing maintenance.  The Remote Deployment Guide provides instructions and guidance for deploying IFS Cloud on client provided servers.  Please reach out if you have any further questions.

Thank you,
Garrett B. @ IFS

Hi @gbennett/ @CRUNDELL ,

Thanks for your response

Can we restrict the build place cloud application  URL’s access with only client enabled VPN? as of now we can access the build place application URL’s anywhere.
