How the shop order can be closed, When there is enough quantity in stock.

How the shop order can be closed, when there is enough purchase part in quantity in stock. Shop order is reserve partially. Recreated in 23R2 Regional test LKP.Manufacture part: SIV-M0002Purchase part: SIV-M0002-1, Note Purchased, Negative On Hand Allowed: On Shop orders no 204774Receive inventory part in stock SIV-M0002-1 . only 20pcs*Created shop order with lot size 100 > Release the shop order > Manually reserve the inventory part*Now the shop order in partially Reserved.( because we have only 20 pcs)*Just directly issue- When I issue shop order status is completely Reserved. *Next step I Receive the item. Now the shop order is closed. Shop order closed due to the option Negative on Hand Allowed: On , in the purchase part. Why no Warning message is pop when receive the material.

FSM 6 - Extract Rule not triggering

Hi, We have an extract rule on a custom table for mobile that doesn’t appear to be triggering any data out to mobile.A record is getting created. The extract rule for the table looks the same as other tables that are working just fine (e.g PART_NEED).The sync rule looks fine, again as above no different to what we have for PART_NEED.However when a record is created nothing is happening in terms data created to MM_MESSAGE_OUT for mobile to pick up. What can I use to be able to root cause why? i.e. server logging.Or is there a generic have you remembered to do ‘x’? Any directions would be greatly appreciated. RegardsyAdt

Adding new control type for the standard defined list of control types

Hi All,I have a customer requirement to define a posting control based on work type to map the revenue posting generated in sales invoice. As the work type is not a control type which is defined in the standard list of control types available in posting controls related to sales invoice postings, is it possible to define this control type for the standard list of values via a development? Any ideas on such feasibility?

IFS Cloud report customization

I have customized a IFSCloud 23R1 standard report and when finalizing the development normally the report model, schema, rdf and the layout (optional) need to be committed to the solution repository.Schema is generated based on the model but the rdf has manual changes with my customized business logic.If I commit the report model file to the repo , it might regenerate the rdf again during a sanity build.a marble code as below will also not work I guess.codegenproperties { GenerateRdf "no";} I can commit only the rdf and schema and finalize my work but report model file should be in version controlled to align with future core update changes.I want to know whether the report model will be included for the build for code generation in a sanity build (but we still commit the schema file into the repo although it generate based on model).In that case any way to force framework to skip generating rdf from the report model?@ChanakaAmarasekara ,your input would be really helpfulThank yo

Edit Time registered for a closed period

Hello, I am wondering if there is a way to edit / create correction transactions for project transactions which have already been transferred and for which the period is closed? Ex, Being in April, I would like to edit time registration from March for some employees without opening march period again, is that possible to edit and have a voucher to reflect change in April but which would still update project balance through this change? How do I set the URL parameter when using FndStreamMessages in Workflow

Hi,When I use the FndStreamMessages in Workflow, I'm not sure how to set the URL parameter.Do I need to input the entire URL link? like below:http://test.ifs.cloud/main/ifsapplications/web/page/CustomerOrder/Form?$filter=OrderNo eq '${OrderNo}' I'd like to at least not have to input the hostname. Where can I retrieve it from? I've tried just entering the part after the page, but it doesn't seem to work.Best regards,Feng

RMA processing after IFS go-live phase when data exist only in legacy tools

Hi Community, We’ve proceeded to our Go-Live and have migrated all outstanding data concerning customer orders, PO’s, etc…. Historical data remains within our legacy software.We are considering that we’ll face the situation where a customer will contact us for items that he would like to return to us as RMA (either for credit or rework/replacement).As it will concern data that won't be in IFS as not been migrated, we are wondering how it could be handled.So here, it’s more a post to ask you for advice/knowledge on how you handled such situation where an RMA needs to be processed in IFS while data exist only legacy software.Thanks in advance for your comments and experiences. How is #FIELD meant to work in Custom Help?

Hi all,I am testing to setup Custom Help in the lower Help Pane and I wonder how it is meant that #FIELD is meant to work. Preferably I would like the #FIELD could take you to a chapter in the Help File, but how do I tag the HTM file then? Or is it even possible?It works fine to configure the base profile for windows we want a Custom Help File, so that is very useful as it is, but i.e. in Work Task we have a large number of custom fields and it would be so nice if the focused field value could take you directly to the correct part of the document describing this custom fields.We are running App10, upd18 if this helps. ;)Thank you so much in advance!

Document Management - Basic User access

I am working on setting up Document Management in our company for Standard Operating Procedures. The management part is working, but I am curious how other users are making the documents available to the basic users (operators, laborers, etc) with limited access.Are you just managing the document revisions in Doc Mgmt and the publishing out to another location (Internal company webpage)?Are you creating a custom lobby to present the documents in an “organized” manner?Just looking for ideas from other users. How to link views together for Operational Reports?

Hello, I am currently using Crystal Reports to build custom Operation Report layouts. One thing we were told by our consultants, is that Operational Reports cannot have multiple views active, they only have access to the one rep view that is already defined by IFS. Our consultants mentioned it has something to do with permissions and that IFSPRINT/IFSAPP need their permissions expanded on in order to achieve this.Is this correct? How do we go about linking other views to our rep view so we can add in other fields?Thanks,Bryan

Revenue Recognition

Hello. I am hoping someone can advise or give some direction on how to handle this situation in IFS. Parent company received an order. Billing for the order will be done by parent and depends on milestones achieved. Parent sets up the customer order. Most of the work will be done by subsidiary. Part of the revenue will be earned by parent. The rest of the revenue will be earned by the subsidiary. Subsidiary sets up an intercompany order (customer is parent) and project. The amount of revenue to be recognized by parent each month depends on the percentage of completion of the project in the subsidiary. Parent will not recognize cost. Subsidiary recognizes revenue each month based on percentage of completion. Cost recognized is actual cost. After subsidiary completes project, it ships to the customer. It will then bill the parent. For example,Assume the parent received a $100 order. Parent sets up customer order for $100. Revenue allocated to parent is $20. Revenue allocated to subsidi
