Instant Invoice Multiple Tax Lines breakdown

We are running Apps10 UPD16.When we have multiple tax lines on the instant invoice:When printing the Instant Invoice, there is only one tax line lumping all 3 lines above together.Our customer requires a breakdown of all of the tax lines. Is it possible to print all of the tax lines on the Instant Invoice report without having to modify and make a new layout? Thanks, Michelle

When updating wanted delivery date IFS not updating shipment as wanted delivery date

Hi ,We are trying to confirm a planned shipment date for one customer order with a date in 2026 but the system will not allow us to go past 31/12/2025. I have set up the accounting periods and all of the vouchers for 2026 but this has not resolved the issue.The planned ship date does not seem to exceed 31/12/25. I am trying to add lines beyond this date.Can you pls explain why.Regards,Patan M.

BPA IFS Failure Event - Customize the message from variable

I am working with BPA for validation purposes. To show a message I am using the IFS Failure Event (Validation Failure End Event) which is documented here: IFS Failure Event (Validation Failure End Event)My goal is to display a message from a variable. In my BPA I have a script task that sets a message variable like so: I connected it directly to the IFS Failure and set the message to be ${errorMessage}: When this BPA runs the message never substitutes the variable: Any ideas?

Concern over Cash Flow Forecast behaviour

Hi All,According to the help documentation, Create Cash Flow forecast is defined as The activity used to create a forecast of future cash flows from the cash flow information collected from the specified companies based on a selected analysis ID.But when we create a cash flow forecast, details show only the past data and not any for the future.Highly appreciate if someone can tell me how this functionality works?

Issue with Azure authentication on IFS 10 enterprice explorer

Today at 10:00 CET azure authentication stopped working. Is Microsoft or ifs that has issues?We get a script fault Seems to impact all customers running Azure authentication.

SFTP Knownhost File issue

Hello , I am trying to create the known host file for SFTP connector to send the file out .We are using APP 10 UPD 18 and when I try to execute the below code in Command Prompt :(replacing the host names and credentials) java -cp <IFS_HOME>\repository\server\javaruntime\ifs-fnd-connect.jar;<IFS_HOME>\repository\server\dist\lib\jsch-0.1.55.jar ifs.fnd.connect.ftp.SftpClient -CreateKnownHosts=KNOWNHOSTS -hostname=SFTPHOST -username=USERNAME -password=PASSWORD Also tried with jsch-0.1.53 , I get the error saying :com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Algorithm negotiation fail at com.jcraft.jsch.Session.receive_kexinit(Session.java:590) at com.jcraft.jsch.Session.connect(Session.java:320) at com.jcraft.jsch.Session.connect(Session.java:183) at ifs.fnd.connect.ftp.SftpClient.createKnownHostsFile(SftpClient.java:448) at ifs.fnd.connect.ftp.SftpClient.main(SftpClient.java:422) Any suggestion would be helpful. Estimated to complete cost for a project

Hello,I want to understand what are qty in WIP, Consumption from current available stock and future purchase requirement by a BOM/Product Structure.We have two sets of parts,One which are unique to a product structure. Shared parts across different product structures.Because we operate as MRP, I am struggling to calculate the Estimated to Complete cost majorly because of the WIP where for example there are 10 Shop Orders, and 8 of them have started, now the current stock in IPIS won’t reserve the stock for 2 remaining Shop Orders and therefore, the IPIS qty is not correct. Is there a better solution to calculate an ETC cost for a project in IFS APP10

Open CUPIA and customer offset

HiI have a client who just went to IFS 10. They have an customer order that was created in IFS 9. There was an advance invoice created and one advance payment made to the order. The final advance payment was posted, they did not clear the CUPIA at that time and it did not apply to the transaction. Instead they just posted the cash side of the entry using the Deferral cash account and that removed the balance in the GL. This left the CUPIA still open. They are now in IFS 10 and are trying to close the CUPIA. They have done a rollback that parked the payment. They tried to do a customer offset and received the following error. The CUPIA is still open and now the final invoice has an open balance of the 7,155.They have gone back into IFS 9 and did the same steps that were done in IFS 10 and they were able to create the offset. Any thoughts or suggestions on what can be done?

Automatic account matching - "no transactions" for some accounts

Hello, I am able to run the automatic matching for supplier account for exemple, but there are some accounts for which the background shows warning message “no matched transaction found” even if there are transactions that have to be matched for the period and account indicated (for ex revenue account).Do you have any idea on the reason why this error message appears for some accounts ?Thanks in advance for your helpTanya

Activity sequence number on projects having no value

Hello to the communityI am trying to transfer to cost accounting the project postings but get the error “activity sequence number must have a value”. Do you by any chance know how i could get a default activity sequence number on my posting lines when the code part “project” depends on posting control and not preposting? The PRJT2 and PRJT6 are setup to have project according to employee category, but no sequence number is mapped on posting line, and the error comes from the fact that it does not have a value; i tried to exclude from project follow up the 2 accounts used in PRJT2/6 but then the project no longer comes from the posting control defined but is the same as preposting. If you have an idea on this matter, would be happy to discuss it with youThanksTanya

Revenue Recognition

Hello. I am hoping someone can advise or give some direction on how to handle this situation in IFS. Parent company received an order. Billing for the order will be done by parent and depends on milestones achieved. Parent sets up the customer order. Most of the work will be done by subsidiary. Part of the revenue will be earned by parent. The rest of the revenue will be earned by the subsidiary. Subsidiary sets up an intercompany order (customer is parent) and project. The amount of revenue to be recognized by parent each month depends on the percentage of completion of the project in the subsidiary. Parent will not recognize cost. Subsidiary recognizes revenue each month based on percentage of completion. Cost recognized is actual cost. After subsidiary completes project, it ships to the customer. It will then bill the parent. For example,Assume the parent received a $100 order. Parent sets up customer order for $100. Revenue allocated to parent is $20. Revenue allocated to subsidi

No employee records in "My Absence Calendar" Window expect own

Hi Team,We are having a problem viewing employee records in the "Absence" and "My Absence Calendar" windows. The user can see his record only from the above screens. But he can see all the records of supervised employees in the "Absences" window.Position access definitions are proper. Users can view subordinates' time cards as well. The issue is only in view of the Absence calendar, and Absence.What will be the possible course for this issue?Thank you

Register Arrival (into inventory) for self-billing without Receipt Reference

Hi Communiy, I have experience the below system behavior in Register Arrival on 24.1E environment.When I enter ‘Register Arrival’ for PO line with self-billing, Receipt Reference is NOT required.The generated PO supplier invoice has an invoice numbe which comes from counter of ‘AS’ Series ID instead of Receipt Reference.However, if I use different compnay/site in the same envrionment, I can not reprodue this case by using the same pruchase part and supplier. I was required to enter Receipt Reference when I enter arrival registration in this case. Do you have any idea how can I make self-billing PO invoice without Receipt Reference?The below screen shot describes self-billing invoice generated from PO receipt. This one has AUTSUPPINV invoice type and but Receipt Reference is NOT required. Regards,Kohei Okigami

FSM Connect - Elements the same value.

Hi, The end point I am wanting to post to is expecting some custom values to be sent with a repeating element name of customfieldname and customfieldvalue. I have three to pass in this example. The XML structure in the log is correct. Templates to create Service Requests in Cloud

In Apps 10, we are able to create new Service Requests from a Template. Cloud 23R2 doesn’t have this functionality. Is it in the pipeline for a future release or is there another way to achieve the same, thanks

Retry Application Message Count

Hi,I’m trying to find an way of outputting into a report the number of times an Application Message was retried in Apps10. I can see the data on screen - but no way of debugging (that I can see) to get at the figure to extract. Anyone got a suggestion?

Closure of open position after bad debt?

Dear IFS-Community,I got a 100% bad debt and declared it as well with the bad debt management.As you can see the bad debt is existing and IFS also says that there´s a “adjustment of value”I checked the posting control too and it works fine. My problem is, that I still have an open position / open item on the customer analysis:The 952€ are still an open item and are included in the customer´s balanceAnd furthermore the bad debt value is included in the balance to pay from the customer and also it´s present in my reportings.Is there any function I forgot to use so that the open position disappears correctly?Thank you very much in advance.Best regards,Frederic

HCM Deviation cycle for recurrent absences

In order to create a recurrent absence for an employee, it is possible to create an Employee Deviation Cycle in IFS standard.In the following example, the employee is absent every friday for “time credit”. The absence results are generated in the time card, but the system still expect job hours booking.But if the employee is absent, he shall not be expected to book any job hours. Thank you for your help!
