In the Start Picking configuration is there a way for the list of values only to pull in the pick lists connected to the warehouse task that is currently being worked upon?

The WaDaCo configuration for starting warehouse task and picking will narrow down the view so only the pick lists associated with a warehouse task will be visible to the warehouse worker assigned the task.
Revert back to the out of box WaDaCo configurations and perform your testing. You’ll be able to compare the out of box configurations with your custom configurations to identify the configuration issue.

As there is a one-to-one relation between Warehouse Task and Customer Order Pick List the List of Values functionality in the “out of box” configuration has been set up to use Auto Pick. So instead of searching/filtering it will automatically select the Pick List associated with the Warehouse Task entered.

Sorry, misleading/incorrect info above. It should say ...“out of box” configuration has been set up with “Use Automatic Value” = Fixed. (for the PICK_LIST_NO item)
