Hi,

First time posting to this community… Please be kind

We are implementing IFS apps 10.  We haven’t gone live yet.

We are using IFS Aurena Scan It 10 (version 10.10.1336.0 ) on an Android handheld.

We upgraded our middleware and DB from release 007 to 009 on Monday, and since then we have seen this error on the device when we attempt to run a WADACO transport task...

Aurena Scan It error on Transport task

As far as I’m aware, releases 008 & 009 did not contain any TAS upgrade.

ProDBA did the upgrade on the middleware and database for us.

Do we need to do anything on the TAS after an upgrade?

If anyone could help that would be great.  We logged it with IFS but they haven’t resolved it yet.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful.

Thanks,

Toby

Think we might have worked this out for ourselves.  These transport tasks are only valid for site 1.  Without realising it we were on a different site in the Aurena Scan It app.  When we switch to site 1 they seem to work OK.

It’s a horrible error for something so simple!  IFS might think about making the error a little more user friendly.

Hi @T0bster

Similar kind of issue was raised from a support case recently.

It is now pending for investigations by RnD.

I will update this conversation once I get a response.

Hi Anushka,

Thanks for the response.

We see quite a few ORA error in Aurena Scan It 10.  Seems like we’re on the bleeding edge!

Hi Toby,

I have accepted the support case that you have created for this error.

RnD have now recognized this as a bug in the application and working on a fix.
