IFS Cloud Installer Issue

Our initial install for IFS cloud completed without error, but our URL is not reachable. When checking our Kubernetes pods I see that our application pod had this event….Warning  FailedMount  4m24s (x500 over 16h)  kubelet  MountVolume.SetUp failed for volume "secrets" : secret "ifsmtxapp-password" not found Has anyone had this type of error? Know how to fix it?

Credit Card Exp Year Error 24R2

When editing a Customer Credit Card expiry year field in 24R2, the following error occurs:  IFS Web Version: 24.2.5.20250402090305.0Date: 2025-05-07T12:55:23.326ZCCustomerCrecar/CustomerCrecarPage (server error)Malformed Request.Error details: [{"code":"TYPES_NOT_COMPATIBLE","message":"The types 'Edm.String' and 'Edm.Int16' are not compatible."}]Request Id: 2da75f5a-8c93-44d5-a342-7a43156d7ca7Url: https://domain.com/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CCustomerCrecarHandling.svc/Reference_CCreditExpYearsLov?$filter=ExpYear%20eq%202033&$skip=0&$top=2 This did not happen in previous versions. I tested it in two of our environments, one with the most recent update and one with 23R1. The one with 23R1 has no issue. I’d imagine this error occurs because the ExpYear field changes from “int character” in 23R1 to just “int” in 24R2. Has anyone else encountered this issue and is there a workaround?

Bookmarks disappearing for some users

We have IFS Cloud 24R1and we experience that some users loose the personal bookmarks. It also seems to happen several times for a few persons, while others are untouched. Does anyone else experience this and know why this happen and what is causing this?

Upgrade from 7.5 Apps to Cloud

Hi all,I have to upgrade a Cutomer from Apps 7.5 to IFS Cloud.Could you help me to get the best advantage to analyze what is the best betweena new from scratch instalation an upgrade and if that’s the solution (what are the steps)What is the more economic soluition ? what is the easiest to improve?Does anybody experienced this ? I’ve to send a RFQ in the 15 following days so thanks for your quick advice and answers

Grant Lobby page to the LTU shop floor permission set

Hi all, We plan to create a lobby for LTU Shop Floor user’s to control their own time registration. We are currently using the 24R2 SU1 release of IFS Cloud. Does anybody knows if granting a lobby page on the LTU permission set is allowed without breaking the licence and if future release of this permission won’t break and / or lock this functionality ? Thanks for your replies,

Hi IFS Experts,As we known, IFS AI  or ML related features are only available in Cloud Deployment option (IFS Managed Cloud). We are IFS parnter and the customers would like to know1. with latest release, more and more new AI scenarios will be enabled. Is there any roadmap to enable AI/ML related functionalities in IFS Remote mode?2. Apart from AI, does IFS could provide a list to partners/customers to show clear differences between IFS Managed Cloud and on-Premise mode regarding IFS compoents, funtionalities and restrictions? Thanks!

IFS Applications 10 EE to IFS cloud - Re-implement or to Upgrade?

Hi,I am reaching out to connect and discuss how various IFS customers are approaching their upgrade to IFS Cloud. We are in the Food and Beverage manufacturing sector, currently using IFS Applications 10 EE, and are in the process of planning our move to IFS Cloud. How many Release versions can customer be behind for Unified Support to continue to support

We have a customer planning to go-Live on 24 R2 in January 2026. I understand that customer can be 3 release versions behind.  By the rime 26R1 come out the customer will be 3 versions behind and they are asking whether they are obliged to 26R1 straight away or are they in breach only when 26R2 comes out? can they hold off the deployment for 26R1 after its release date?

LTU Permission sets and Service Updates

We have purchased some LTU licenses and I have uploaded these permission sets into our IFS Cloud environment.  Can anyone tell me if I need to get an updated version of these LTU permission sets for Service Updates?  I am aware I need to ask for updated permission set for Release Updates, but unsure if I need to do the same for Service Updates.  If it is dependent on if the Service Update affects that particular area the LTU covers, is there an easy way to check to identify this?

Error post version install

Moving IFS IEE Saved Searches to IFS Cloud

Hi,Has anyone found a way to convert saved searches in IEE client to Aurena Client/IFS Cloud?We are currently working on upgrading IFS 10 UPD 22 version to IFS Cloud.Users are heavily relying on saved searches to manage their daily tasks. At present, there are over 5,000 saved searches across both Base and personal profiles. After the Go-Live, users will undoubtedly be disappointed to find that their saved searches are missing in IFS Cloud.It is surprising that IFS has entirely overlooked upgrading saved searches into IFS Cloud.This topic has been discussed about two years ago, IFS IEE to Aurena Saved Searches | IFS CommunityI'm re-posting this topic to see if anyone has found a workaround for this issue over the past couple of years. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this matter. Thanks,Thilochana

The unexecuted scripts are in component folders and named like 24R2-SU02.cdb or 24R2-GA.cdb

There is problem with the R24...cdb -scripts which are not executed and therefor some database alters are not in place. The unexecuted scripts are in component folders and named like 24R2-SU02.cdb or 24R2-GA.cdbexample:ifsremote\ifsroot\deliveries\buildhome_24_2_2\database\apppay\24R2-GA.cdbIs it Ok to execute those scripts before actual run of installer or is there some better solution for that?

Different framework versions in DEV (build place) and TEST

One of our customers upgraded to 24R2 recently. The release upgrade started on 1/22/2025 and build place was updated on  3/7/2025.Now, in their Build place (DEV) environment, the application version and framework version are different.However, in the relevant TEST (useplace) environment both application and framework versions are the same. Could you please clarify,How something like this could have happened What is the impact this will have on future deliveries/fixes. What can be done to get the useplace and prod environments to the same framework version as dev.

Build Place upgrade - error

Hi,we have raised this with IFS (case CS0336328) but we don’t know if we will get a fast enough response so are trying this route.We have tried to upgrade the Build Place for MYDentist to 24R2 UPD3 and experienced an error immediately.This project is on a critical time line and is being managed hour by hour, so every minute counts.Hope someone from IFS running the Clinic can assist us to move this issue forward. Best Regards,Steve Barker

APP10 vs APP9 - Application messages

Hi,We have two seperate environments installed on different servers - IFS9 and IFS10 UPD23.When handling 200 application messages in IFS9 it takes around 3 minutes. If we handling exactly the same amount of application messages in the same queues and routing rules and messages it takes around 40 minutes in Application 10.Can someone help me to understand where do we start investigating this issue?Restarting application messages also takes time in IFS10. Here is a compare from a restart in app9 and app10.App10 - Duration 1303msApp9 - 312ms
