I am running Apps8 on windows 2012R2. My DB is currently running on a seperate VM. So, there is no shared resources between application and database.
We are seeing that the Java Heap is getting very ful. After investigating we noticed that the Application default for Java Heap is 2gb. We are looking to increase it. However, the application server itself only has 8gb of RAM allocated to it. I am not wanting to increase the Java heap memory because it would be giving Java 50% of the servers memory.
Question:
What is the recommended system requirements (RAM) for IFS Apps8 and Apps10?
Would increasing the java heap to 4gb help application performance at all?
