Hi All,

Is there a setting to disable the sorting functionality by clicking the column header?

I never noticed this but today a customer questioned about it, and now I see it every time when opening a table window

I already tried disabling FNDBAS Presobject Table Column Reorganization but it didn’t solve the problem.

Hi @dsj

This is a framework feature and there is no setting to disable this.

Hi @dsj ,

As per RnD there isn’t any feature to disable this feature. However, if this requirement arises

because of a performance issue (time taken to sort the records) you could change the Maximum number of rows for column sort

i.e.

“Maximum number of rows for column sort. This setting controls how many records that will be sorted via the column sorting. Due to performance reasons it should not be set too high. Default is 1000 rows. Use button Use Default to set back to the default number.”

Lowest value one can set is 100.

Hope this helps!
