Just started testing Notify Me on iOS (both IFS Aurena Notify Me 10 and IFS Notify Me 10). Everything works except the app itself does not trigger a notification (Banners, Sounds, Badges) on the phone when a new notification is pushed to the app. What am I missing? Hi, We are in the process of going live with MWO on Apps10 UPD 11 Oracle 12c and when adding 100 users have run into major performance bottlenecks with the MWO Batch Sync job. The job executes for days and there are numerous errors such as PlsqlapServer.ERRPING: No response from MWS server [MAIN].We have tried updating the number of batch processes to 3 and have not seen any performance improvements. Are they any customers currently using MWO on Apps10 upd 11 with Oracle 12 that have run into issues with the Batch sync job execution times and what did you do to see any improvements? We have similar issues with the initialization which can take upwards of an hour. Any inputs/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
HiIn the current view of the MWO we have (on Work Step level) an Object to which we may add description of the work and Remarks.However often we’d need other input. Below is a fictive example. The main problem is that we have more types of input. It could be a measurement, a description of the condition or something else. Adding it all into the Remarks field complicates future analysis and is btw difficult to read. Please can anyone help. We have a user who is using the MWO application on their laptop, for some orders they have started seeing the “On Route” button on the screen (top right in the screen shot attached). We do not know what is causing this to appear, as far as we are aware there has been no change in permission sets. It is not our intention that the users should see this button and we need to understand why this button is now appearing. ThanksAndy
Hi,I’m trying to add a new page into MWO Maintenance application. Is this technically possible? Right now I have created a new page and added it in the Aurena native apps navigator. I tried refreshing the cache and initializing the sync, but, this screen is not visible in the MWO. I tried adding a custom field in the object screen which seems to work fine. Kindly let me know is there any way to achieve this? Thanks in advance.
When trying to login to the Touch apps Server using system ID, we are presented with an ‘Invalid Redirect URL’ error: We have the correct URI redirect setups here (which matches the external URL provided in TAS setup): Does anyone have any ideas on how we can resolve this? Many thanks
Hi Community, Well… I have done the setup for trip Tracker 10 App, but when I try to connect receive the follows error message:"Company Setup Error: No companies available." It's importan to mention that Travel Expenses in Enterprise Explorer works well and Notify me Application works well too. This error message only comes when I'm trying to connect to Trip Tracker Application.I have been trying to find some explanation to this issue but nothing is helping me.Did anyone have this issue before? We are testing handheld in Europe and latency is high, resulting in poor scanning experience.We would like to test scanning with TAS server built in Europe to see if this improves the response timesCould you give me a little more information around the Handhelds scanning so that I can try to help troubleshooting from an Infrastructure perspective? Hi, We are in the middle of IFS Cloud 22R1 deployment at customer site with MWO Maintenance app. Customer is planning to use MWO Maintenance with android tablets and setting MWO app to auto update. If there are any issue, is it possible to uninstall the update and go back to previous version. Is the MWO Maintenance app backward compatible? Regards,Dasun
When we issue the final invoice from a Work Order, the “Delivery Date” doesn’t follow the actual “Service/Delivery Date” filled in, creating confusion and questions from our Customers. We cannot adjust the “Wanted Delivery Date” on the Customer Order lines and no matter what we put on the work order the “Delivery Date” on the line level remains the invoice date. Isn’t there a way around this, so we can put in the day we actually did the service and not when we did the invoice? Thanks,Michael
Is it possible to modify the search criteria in Aurena?For example, I would like to generate a Requisition and without looking up the exact Work Order/ Functional Object. So, I would use the search function below Work Order. I can find the Work Order Number and a general description, but not the (Work Task) Definition, as specified in the Work Task Template. The same would apply for looking up a Functional Object, I can find and sort numbers, but I cannot find the (Object) Description.
Hi, All!Our customer has issue on windows mobile client, when user made all the necessary actions with the work task and closed it, but there was no any progress appeared in IEE.None of the failed transaction can be found for this user in IEE.Also, Sync monitor page on mobile client shows "Idle” and the transactions list doesn't contain any. After the investigation we see a lot of Out messages (~11k for about a week) accumulated in IEE and not sent to mobile client back.We, together with customer, restarted the tablet, closed and started the mobile client, but without any success.Is there any suggestion what to do to move forward such amount of accumulated and not sent Out messages? Hello, We are planning to use Aurena (technician/ maintenance portal). Yesterday I received feedback of our technicians that the interface is not that intuitive. I am hoping you can assist me in improving the application for our technicians.What we would like is to view the Task Steps underneath the Work Order. This would enable the users to instantly know what work the task contains. I already know the “Definition” of a Work Task Template pulls through to the Work Task. But is it possible to add a view of task steps? Or possibly the Job Description? If not, would it be possible to edit the view of Work Details to include Task Steps? (And to exclude irrelevant information such as components from the Task Information?)
Hiding 'Accept' button via workflow configuration remove the ability to keep the assignment in assigned status
Hi, 1. Create a workflow configuration and switch off 'Allow Accept' Status2. Create a Work Task and Transfer to mobile (the previously created workflow configuration should apply to the assignment)3. In mobile you will see the Accept button is hidden4. But the status of the Assignment has been changed to AcceptedThis is contradicting because the intention is to hide Accept button and the Assignment should be moved from Assigned State to Work Started when the user click work start button. Also this behavior has impacts on PSO planning as well.If we keep the button and skip clicking Accept and if we directly click on Start Work, the Assignment Status will be changed from Assigned to Work Started. But in this case by removing 'Accept' button, it removed the ability to keep the assignment in Assigned status. This is contradicting. If it is needed to remove Assigned status, the status Assigned should have been removed via the workflow configuration.I believe this is a bug, but if not can y
mWorkOrder 3.9 lags push data back to IEE after Oracle 19c upgrade from Oracle 12c.We are experiencing more lags in data writing back to IEE from mWorkOrder 3.9.We are using APPS9 UD17 and prior to the Oracle upgrade didn’t have this consistent lag. Our biggest obstacle is when a survey answer includes a photo and the photo often gets stuck and we end up with errors or no pictures. During the Oracle upgrade permissions were changed remvoing sys and system access from appowner. I was under the impression the mobile app uses IFSSYS for all mobile transactions, however maybe this isn’t the case. We were planning on deploying mworkorder 3.14, however am afraid I may introduce yet other issues moving to the newer mworkorder version prior to resolving the issues at hand. Where can I begin looking to determine where this lag may be occurring?Is there a set of permission standards deployed with APPS9 noting which IFS, SYS, SYSTEM, APPOWNER accounts should have which accessAny particular log f

Hi all,I need help to clarify the Pool concepts because we have a new scenario.The scenario consists of planning and sending a Work Task with Demands to two Resource Groups where only one will accept and execute the Work Task. In this case when one Mobile User accepts the Work Task, a Work Assignment is created and the Work Task is removed from all other Mobile Users in the Resource Group. The other Demand should be cancelled in Transferred Tasks/Work Assignments.This scenario happens because of the unavailability of resources and because the Work Task can be performed by any of the related groups and not by others. The Customer expects that the unaccepted Demand will also be dropped from the Pool when the Work Task is accepted by any Mobile User.The same scenario can happen with Tasks sent to Pool-Keep.What is your recommendation for this scenario?
