I am looking for a way to have all submitted Fault Reports automatically released. I was not able to find any community posts related to this, and there does not appear to be any Site settings that would allow this behavior.
Any direction would be greatly appreciated!

Perhaps a custom event could do it, that would release the WO/FR in a background job/process once it has been “submitted”. I don’t have a recipe but I don’t think it would be very hard.
