WO into CO issue in App9

We have a single occurrence where a transfer to a Customer order, of the Work order (with 6 posting lines) has created 6 separate Customer orders. We have never had this occur previously. We are high used of Work orders, with multiple Posting lines

All lines have been posted on the same day,

Any heads up would be useful

Hi Ash,

Do you have any customizations done in this area ? I ask because earlier we receive the same issue form a Swedish customer and the reason was A customer specific modification.

in addition, can you check whether you have alternate customers defined in Posting lines ?

 

1. In Prepare WO, create a new WO with a customer.
2. Release the WO and RMB->Report In.
3. Create at least two postings line. For example, one time reporting line and one external line.
4. These lines should have a customer specified in the “Alt Customer” field. The customer has to be different from the Work order Customer, but both posting lines should have the same Alternative Customer.
5. Authorize the two lines.
6. RMB on Work order -> Transfer to Customer Order.
7. RMB -> “Create Customer Order Line” on both lines.

Thank you for the response.

However, I had a look at the W/O in question, and none of the posting lines have any Alternative customer. I randomly checked some more, and found the fields to be always empty

We do not have any customizations in this area
